Black White and Leopard All Over

Just a little print mixing and holiday red for you on this fine Friday.  One week til I'm home for 10 days and I cannot wait!  I wrapped up my last work event of the year yesterday and I couldn't feel better.  Time for some relaxing, reflecting and planning!

Central Park Lace and Leaves

Last year I tried to do a Central Park outfit shoot to try to capture all the fall colors but we were about two weeks to early.  The stars aligned this year and as Katie, Shelby, Jen and I strolled through Central Park this last weekend we were greeted by the most amazing color scheme.

Ruffled Neon

Here's little throwback outfit from mid-August when it was blistering hot and so humid you could cut the air with a knife (sounds really pleasant, I know).  I've been embracing this weather we've had with open arms but I can't help but sigh a little at the fact that summer is over (and grimace at the fact that I feel like I need to put tights on in the morning!).  It was a good summer for sure and mine and Jen's motto of "just say yes" took me on some really great adventures.  How was your summer?  Are you ready for fall?

Green Gemmed Scuba

Happy Monday!!  Back to my summer uniform for work today.  A simple dress paired with a statement necklace.  This combo has proven to be no-fail when it's really hot outside and when I'm running late for work (I'm really never late to anything...).  I also really love the pop of color with this dress and the "scuba" fabric is really fun!  Thank you Nordstrom Rack for the steal.

While I work on my apartment window shopping posts (they are taking a lot longer than I expected - too many good things!) P.s.  How is tomorrow August 1st??  July felt like the longest month of the year but I have to say I'm kinda sad it's gone.  Let's not talk about the fact that summer is "over" soon...

Business in the Front, Party in the Back

I'm so excited to show you guys what I styled from L. Mae Boutique!  If you tuned in on Wednesday I curated my favorites from their online boutique and today I'm excited to share my "business in the front, party in the back" adorbs dress with you guys!  This dress is technically completely business work environment friendly because the "party in the back" is a cute lace detail but perfectly appropriate because it's not see-through.  Sooo that basically doubles the fun with this dress.

It's been way too hot to wear much of anything in the city (hello heat wave!) but I can't wait to transition it to with some fun jackets and scarves.  What would you pair it with?

Polka Dots Untucked

Sometimes you just don't want to tuck in your shirt, ya know?  I mean, when it comes to weekend style it's always nice to be a little untucked (considering I work in a profesh office environment where I try to keep it fairly "buttoned up," especially when I'm seeing clients).  I was so excited about my new teal pumps I just had to bust them out last weekend.  What do you think?  They're a little 80's but so amazing!
