The Right... Leopard Pencil Skirt: Work Edition

  

 
I've been on the hunt for the right leopard pencil skirt for quite some time now.  Leopard is really one of those touchy prints that can either be really great or really bad (and I'm definitely one to get SUPER picky when it comes to prints so you can imagine how much more difficult tracking down the right one was for me).  Leave it to Club Monaco to have the perfect print that is great for summer and will go great with darker colors come winter!  Oh and right now it's an extra 50% off - what are you waiting for?

The Right... Peplum Dress

Hello There!!  I feel like it's been days since I've talked to you guys!  Oh wait....  It has - major apologies for the serious haitius but things have gotten a little busy in the real life.  I wore this springy get up to a work luncheon I had a couple of weeks ago and I have to admit, I want to wear it all.the.time.now.  It's just so good and such a fun color.

The Right... Leather Peplum

I feel like a bit of a broken record here but lately I've been really pushing the envelope with my work attire (and really any outfit I've been wearing) and this leather peplum at the office was no exception.  That's the beauty of living in New York City - you can experiment all you want and never feel out of place.  

I scored this leather peplum on major sale after the holidays on Piperlime and I've been looking for a good reason to style it for the office.  I think that whole not wanting to "waste an outfit" thing came into play so when I had a full day of meetings and two events I decided to pull it out and go for it.  I realize my go-to for work is to just throw a blazer on it, but I really think this is the best way to make a lot of things work.

Spring Style: Work It with Sole Society

Blue Camo + Black Fur

Here I go again with this blue camo dress - I really can't get enough of it.  Instead of a blazer for work I threw on this cozy vest to help me deal with the freezing temps a little better.  Can't wait to be able to wear it in spring without tights.

I've had client meetings the last couple of Fridays in a row and although we don't get casual Friday I've had to dress extra nice because of them.  It can be really tough for me to fully pull together an outfit at the end of the week.  Last week it was a little warmer (still only in the 30s), so let my coat do the talking...

Gentle Fawn for Winter

Remember this post with my lovely printed blouse from Gentle Fawn?  Well, I decided it was time to style it for winter.  I threw together this quick outfit for the office but love how it turned out with the monocrhome green and blazer to accent the black on the shirt.

Black White and Leopard All Over

Just a little print mixing and holiday red for you on this fine Friday.  One week til I'm home for 10 days and I cannot wait!  I wrapped up my last work event of the year yesterday and I couldn't feel better.  Time for some relaxing, reflecting and planning!

Blue Camo Dress

You guys.  This dress.  I can't even begin to tell you how freaking amazing it is.  I saw it on the Ivy & Blu website and instantly fell in love (like head over heels).  I know, it sounds so dumb to like a dress so much but between the fit, the quality and the print it's basically a trifecta.  And I don't think I've received more compliments on a dress in my life.

Today I'm styling the dress for work - tune in next week to see how I style it for brunch with the besties.

East v. West Style: Booties

I can't believe we are already in week three of this amazing fall collab!!  This week we are styling our new Sole Society booties!  I think last year was the first year I really got into the ankle bootie trend with my black booties.  They are the perfect fall wardrobe addition and I highly recommend this pair.  They passed the NYC full day comfort test with flying colors!  Trust me, I tell you I can trek around in a pair of heels all day in NYC they truly are comfortable.
