Monochromatic Peplum

So I finally joined the year 2012 and bought a peplum top.  Now, before you jump to conclusions, hear me out.  I have that white/black floral peplum top but it was from a couple of years ago and I've just kind of made it work with this year's peplum trend.  I found this beauty during the Zara sale and I love how it can be nice for evening or paired with jeans for a more casual look.  I've had this skirt for at least two months now and couldn't ever figure out what to wear it with until, bam!  This peplum top came along.  It's a little crazy and bright but it worked and I loved it.

World Traveler: Business Edition

Yesterday was "World Traveler" for #StyleMeMay and let me tell you, this orange get-up sure had me in a peppy mood!  This dress makes me feel like traveling south of the border - throw on some sandals and you're set for the beach!  However, I wasn't fortunate enough to be south of the border so I had to class it up for work.  '

Easter Stripes

I am absolutely in love with the dress I bought last Friday.  I wore it on Easter but also show here how I would style it for work - by throwing on an orange blazer.  If you wanted to tone it down a little more you could just do a black or tan blazer.

Happy First Day of Spring!

I so wish the weather would have been as cheery as my outfit was yesterday!  So excited that it's officially Spring.  I think I get just as excited for Fall.  There is just something about those transition months...
