TheRightShoes Takes on Enterprise Car Share

Hola!  How's your 2014 going?  I know mine's off to a (kind of) slow start.  Or should I say cold start?  The weather was miz this weekend and basically had me snuggled in bed watching Netflix and only leaving for the gym and grocery store.  Oh and a little shopping excursion with Jen!  I was approached by Enterprise to tell you all about their new Car Share program and I even got to test it out with a little shopping trip (they sure know the way to my heart!).  Enterprise Car Share is a really convenient way to access the convenience of a car while living in a hustling bustling city.  As I'm sure you know, owning a car in New York is expensive when you consider the cost of loan or lease payments, insurance premiums, parking and gas. While I just sold my car at home this was a great opportunity for me to still have the option of having a car when mass transit is limited.  Basically you can reserve a car 24/7 and for short or long periods of time with a rate that includes gas and insurance. Car sharing makes running errands so much easier!

Window Shopping Wednesday: Apartment Style-Storage

I can't believe it's Wednesday already!  Usually I feel like time has been dragging by but not this week.  Maybe because I've been in go mode since I hopped off the plane at 5:20 AM on Monday and went straight to work.

Either way, I'm still working on décor and furniture ideas for my new space (which I'm trying to get into by this weekend!).  This week I'm focused on storage or a nice bookcase.  I've been debating a standard 6 shelf white bookcase but once I started poking around I saw some pretty cool options!  I can't lie, I really really love this option but it's just way too far out of my price range.  Here are some others I'm considering:

Window Shopping Wednesday: Apartment Style-Desks

Time to go back to the Apartment Style posts!  I painted the new room last weekend and it went from the most awful tan color to a crisp, clean white!   It was only about a 5.5 hour process, NBD.  Trying to add some gold stripes to the large wall but it may be too ambitious so we will see.

This week I'm showing you some desks I'm considering for my new space - but I'm also thinking of just keeping it simple with a standard Parsons desk (they really are chic, aren't they?).  What do you think?
