Window Shopping Wednesday: Apartment Style-Storage

I can't believe it's Wednesday already!  Usually I feel like time has been dragging by but not this week.  Maybe because I've been in go mode since I hopped off the plane at 5:20 AM on Monday and went straight to work.

Either way, I'm still working on décor and furniture ideas for my new space (which I'm trying to get into by this weekend!).  This week I'm focused on storage or a nice bookcase.  I've been debating a standard 6 shelf white bookcase but once I started poking around I saw some pretty cool options!  I can't lie, I really really love this option but it's just way too far out of my price range.  Here are some others I'm considering:

Window Shopping Wednesday: Apartment Style-Desks

Time to go back to the Apartment Style posts!  I painted the new room last weekend and it went from the most awful tan color to a crisp, clean white!   It was only about a 5.5 hour process, NBD.  Trying to add some gold stripes to the large wall but it may be too ambitious so we will see.

This week I'm showing you some desks I'm considering for my new space - but I'm also thinking of just keeping it simple with a standard Parsons desk (they really are chic, aren't they?).  What do you think?

Window Shopping Wednesday: Apartment Style

Happy Hump Day!  I'm switching things up a bit on Wednesdays on the blog for the next couple of weeks.  I'm officially migrating from good ole Gramercy to the Upper East Side by the end of August so I want to share some of my new room inspiration with you guys!  I'm super excited about this move because I'll get a bigger room (with a closet!!!!) and it's a bigger apartment and it's a new neighborhood to explore!  It's a lot of change all at once but I'm trying to embrace it and I figured this would help.  Stay tuned because I'll be rounding up some furniture and décor ideas over the next couple of weeks.

Some goals with this new space:
Keep things simple (new/bigger space does not = a ton of new stuff!)
Mission: blog central with a pretty new desk area
I'd love a little sitting area with a fun chair
