Window Shopping Wednesday: Transition Pieces

I realize I may be jumping a bit ahead of myself with this post but I can't help but get excited about fall fashion right now.  Trust me, I'm still relishing in the last bit of summer but fall is handsdown my favorite time of year.  I've rounded up some things I'll be hopefully adding to my wardrobe over the next month or so. 

The dresses are the perfect hue for fall and can easily be layered with tights and sweaters or jackets once winter hits.  Track pants are everywhere right now and they are so easy to wear!  They can easily be dressed up or down.  I love the idea of a striped jacket for layering - it's a little more exciting than a solid color blazer.  I'm obsessed with the embellishment on the sweater - another item that can easily be dressed up or down.  I love the sporty vibe of the t-shirt below and see it paired with jeans and when winter hits adding a long sleeve shirt under for added warmth.  The animal print mini bag basically speaks for itself - it's just so cute!  And animal print is huge again this season.  And in my opinion booties are a no-brainer for fall - I love how these two are different from the two pairs I own now.

Double Happiness!

Today marks two very exciting days in one: my little blog's first birthday and the first day of Fall!  Crazy to think I've been blogging for an entire year now!  Things have definitely slowed down since moving to NYC but I am working on that!  I just need Internet and we should be good (we've been tapping into the nearby Megabus station so it's been spotty lol).  I'm really looking forward to where the blog takes me and I can't wait for you to come too!

Also, today marks the first day of Fall - one of my favorite seasons of them all!  So, here's a little pumpkin pie martini to kick the celebration off right!

Happy First Day of Fall!

What better way to celebrate the first day of fall than with a little fall wishlist?

Even though it's a high of 93 in Reno today, it's not stopping me from getting excited about Fall - which is right around the corner!
