Birthday Lace

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and especially wonderful Thanksgiving (for those that celebrate).  You may have seen my lace/gingham combo on Instagram last Thursday for Thanksgiving/my Birthday.  I bought this dress a couple weeks ago after drooling over it for so long.  I figured I would wear it for a holiday party if the occasion arose but I decided to wear it on my birthday/Thanksgiving instead!  I had to dress it down a bit but I could definitely dress it up with heels and a blazer.  Do you have an article of clothing that can be dressed up or down?

"Did you ride a horse to work today?"

No, I did not ride my horse to work yesterday.  Silly boys.  That was the question I got from one of the guys at work.  Oh and the other?  "Are those socks?" [points to the tops of my boots].  Hm.. 

Well I hope you all enjoy the outfit at least (haha).

Happy First Day of Fall!

What better way to celebrate the first day of fall than with a little fall wishlist?

Even though it's a high of 93 in Reno today, it's not stopping me from getting excited about Fall - which is right around the corner!
