TGIF/Bringing it Back!

Happy Friday Friends!  What are you up to this weekend?  I'll be running a fundraising event for work tomorrow and hanging out with family on Sunday.  Btw, who's excited for the Fourth??!  I know I am!  I'm even more excited because I get to go to Montana for a couple of days with the BF to stay with some friends.  So excited!

Anyway, last week I hinted at a trend I'd like to bring back.  A trend that will greatly expand the versatility of your dresses!  Let's bring back the shirt-tied-up-over-a-dress look!  I know, I might be crazy, but during #StyleMeMarch we were challenged to "layer over or under a dress" so I wore this:


And I find myself continuing to layer over dresses.  It's great!  Here is my look from last week:

Everyone on Instagram thought this was a skirt!  So like I said, let's bring it back!  Or I guess I will :).

    The shirt looks so great over this dress! Definitely an excellent way to expand your wardrobe, because this makes it a whole now outfit. I'm going to have to look through my dresses and give this a try with one...
