DIY Rope Knot Necklace Styled + Weekend Attire

Here's how I styled my new DIY for a casual dinner event:

Sorry for the poor quality here, no matter how I edited the photo it wasn't turning out right but I really wanted to highlight the shoes!  Definitely a new fave

Have you read Nina Garcia's books?  I love that she says a simple white t-shirt is a wardrobe essential.  Sometimes it's a good idea to amp up the accessories and keep the rest simple (like my outfit above - I really wanted to highlight the necklace).
