NYFW/IFBcon

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!  Mine was spent meeting some new bloggers, attending some Fashion Week events and working a bit.  Had so much fun and I'll have outfit updates soon!  And today I start my new job!  I couldn't be more excited! 

I'm going to have a full recap of some things I picked up at IFB soon but in the meantime, check out what I wore!  I am all about statement skirts as of late and this one is no exception.  So excited to continue to style it through Spring!

Burgundy Animal

Happy Fridayyy!!  Fashion Week officially kicked off yesterday and I have to say I absolutely LOVE the buzz and atmosphere that surrounds this city during Fashion Week.  I feel truly blessed to live here and be able to take advantage of so many opportunities whether planned or on a whim.  If you follow me on Instagram/Twitter you probably saw I made it to day 1 of the IFB conference!  I'll have an outfit post and recap next week.

Wednesday's post focused on a faux leather skirt roundup - a trend that doesn't seem to be disappearing anytime soon.  And with good reason!  You can dress leather skirts up or down, depending on the occasion.  I definitely have more than one sitting in my closet (and in multiple shapes!).  I dressed one of my faux leather skirts down in this post here and today I'll show you how I dressed my burgundy skirt up a bit! 

 

Also, I realized there's been a bit of a burgundy/leopard theme on the blog this week!  Apparently I've had this in heavy rotation lately.
