Coral + Pink Ruffles

During the hot spells we've had I tried to find some hot weather yet office friendly looks and this was one of my favorites.  I also decided to actually do something with my hair that day so that helped a little too!

Tomorrow I'll be landing in NYC ready to start a big adventure adn I couldn't be more excited!!  It's taken a lot of work though to get to this point.  I have to tell you, it's amazing how much stuff a person can accumulate over their life!

Incorporating Brights

You know what I hate?  When you buy something, change your mind about it but then can't return it.  That's exactly what happened with this top.  I bought it in NYC at a store that's only in NYC, got home, realized I wasn't a huge fan but couldn't return it.  I even tried contacting the company on their website begging them to return it.  Nope. 

So I did what any good blogger would do and I figured out how to make it work.  This shirt is almost neon coral and while I am not used to neon colors yet I decided the best way to tackle it would be to pair it with neutrals.  And voila!  I think it turned out alright!
