TGIF/Casual Friday Drinks

First of all: Happy November!  I can't believe it's almost the end of 2012.  So crazy.  November is my birthday month (it falls exactly on Thanksgiving day this year!), so it's always a really exciting time of year!

A couple weeks ago my friend Jenny won a happy hour at a local bar (seriously one of the best prizes ever - I won the same thing a week later!) so I joined her and a couple of her friends.  I know the bar is a little more casual than others so I opted for this look: simple black silk blouse + boyfriend jeans + heels.  Doesn't get much better and easier than this!  What do you like to wear for a casual night out?

Can we talk about these shoes for a minute?  They are awesome.  I absolutely LOVE the Valentino's but while I'm on my "just moved to New York, still loooking for a good paying job and ballin on a budget" status I obviously can't afford the real thing.  Thanks to Ashley of Ashley in DC's post earlier this month I snagged a pair of the Shoedazzle look alikes (for under $35 mind you)!
