  I've traveled a bunch as of late (and right now I'm exploring Europe) and the weather has finally gotten cold, so it was only natural my go-to outfit is a simple combo of leggings, over the knee boots and a sweater (or faux fur vest in this case).  I wore this when I headed to Jackie's for Octoberfest a couple of weeks ago and wore a similar version on the plane on the way to Paris.
