First OOTD from NYC!

Can you believe how long it's been since my last outfit post?  TWO WEEKS.  Are you kidding me??  I guess time flies when you're having fun (er, NYC apartment hunting is not fun by any means, but being in this city is exciting!).  So back to the point of this post: my lunch date with Jessica of Bows & Sequins/my first outfit pictures in NYC.  Jessica and I met at The Grey Dog in the East Village - super cute lunch/coffee place, I highly recommend it.  It was so great to meet her in person and connect with her on all our NYC woes (she just did this crazy thing I did, move to this city with no job or apartment, although she has a job now!). 

Then we took some outfit photos for each other!  You see, I've been trying to get up the guts to take pictures of myself with my tripod (and it obviously hasn't happened) and Jess has been doing it almost every day so it was really nice to be somewhat "normal" and take pictures for each other.  I really wasn't loving my outfit that day but I guess that's what you get when you a) don't pack smartly (I had NO idea how freaking hot it would be here, why did I bring pants or sweaters???) and b) live out of a suitcase for 2+ weeks (hopefully my stuff arrives next week?), but I went with it anyway.
