Penciled in Boots

I can admit I don't normally wear boots with such long skirts.  However, my adventerous side kicked in and I felt like pairing these boots with a pencil skirt for work.  I loved the outcome.  An entire palette of neutrals with a tiny pop of color, and trust me.  I was feeling good that day!  I love when out outfit does that.

Oh and might I also add that this is the first pair of leather boots I ever owned?  My mom got them for me for Christmas a couple of years ago and they are definitely one of my favorites.

Hope you are all having fun getting ready for Christmas!  I have to admit I am only about 1/8 of the way through my shopping/gift gathering.  Ugh.  Oh and trust me, I know there are only 7 days until Christmas...
