I spent the weekend in Huntington Beach, CA to run the
Surf City (half) Marathon. It was such a blast, the weather was gorgeous and I set a personal record on my race! I only ran a 2:16 but that is 3 minutes faster than my last race so I think it counts for something. Oh and the fact that it was ridiculously hot also didn't help (at mile 11 I wanted to absolutely die). You see, I'm used to running in 20/30/40 degree weather right now and 65 + humidity + no marine layer = brutally hot. If you
follow me on Instagram you probably saw a lot of these pictures already, but the weekend mostly consisted of strolls and sunsets along the beach, eating on Main Street, meeting up with my friend
Rachel to do some shopping (scored a really cute mint swiss dot blouse from
Zara for
Refinery 29's fashion week party this Thursday), and of course race day. Check it out!
