T.G.I.F!

Ok so Friday's are always good days in my eyes.  But today is an especially good Friday!  I am heading to San Francisco for a short trip for a friend's birthday and I am very excited to say I finally purchased a new digital camera.  I haven't had a camera since January because I dropped it in the rain outside of the Pike's Place Starbucks in Seattle (it was a flurry of rain, umbrellas, awe/excitement of being at the first.starbucks.ever., trying to catch my friends inside, etc. - I thought it was safely around my wrist but when I went to put my umbrella away it smashed to the ground and was never to be used again). 

Lesson learned: if you're from a city that rarely ever gets rain, make sure you pay attention to what's going on when you're putting away your umbrella.
